The Festa Internazionale di Roma (International Feast of Rome) is a cinematographic festival which first edition took place in Rome from October 13th to October 21st 2006.

The committee decided to call it "feast" instead of the usual "festival" to underline the joyful spirit and the participation of the city and its citizens to the kermesse.

In spite of being at its first edition, the festival, thank to the fame of the hosting city and the importance of the famous names invited, succeeded to reach a great attention in the media and famous guests to present for the first time their works. The festival is hold few days after the famous Mostra internazionale d'arte cinematografica (International Movies Exhibition of Venice), which usually takes place between the end of August and the beginning of September. There is a "tacit" rivalry among the two events.

The feast is not only dedicated to the seventh art : there are also many other initiatives as parallel reviews, meetings, music shows, fashion and literary exhibitions.
